Are the folks there aware that the stipend that makes retiree’s health insurance barely affordable for many is being discontinued? I know that shrinking contributions are making cost reduction efforts necessary, but this one will create extreme hardships. I don’t see a way around it, but I grieve it.

Yes. Unfortunately, the cost of current administrative staff salary outweighs the retiree health insurance stipend.
