Who Stops Disabled Children From Being Included In Church?

via Who Stops Disabled Children From Being Included In Church?

I read this blog.  It pains me to read about families that are asked to leave the church.  As a pastor who has a special needs child, I am glad there are churches which welcome children with behavioral issues.  There are churches who do love on children who are disabled.  I hope every church that I get to pastor has this love for children with disabilities.

I read the heartwrenching article. I pray that you never get assigned to such a church, which aren’t really churches. I don’t know of anyone in our congregation who would behave in such a manner as spoken of in the article. If I did, they would be hearing a ‘sermon’ from me.

Grace to the children with special needs and grace to those who don’t have grace for the children with special needs might be a good way to approach your ‘sermon.’
